ARTWORK: Camera-ready art is art that is submitted at least 1/2 size, has no greys, is flat and crisp, black and white (graphics and text), color separated with registration marks. For best results we recommend that you send art to size. There is no charge to enlarge or reduce good black and white art, typesetting up to four lines, or for minor touchups.

E-Mail Artwork: We prefer vector based computer generated art in Adobe Illustrator 10 or earlier versions.With all fonts converted to curves.

Computer Generated Artwork On Disk: (EPS files are acceptable)
In preparing your computer generated artwork, please follow the guidelines listed.
1. We are Macintosh based.
2. We accept artwork on the following media:
*Mac Zip Disks - 100MB Zip
*CD Rom
3. We accept artwork in the following applications: (or earlier versions)
*Adobe Illustrator 10 *Macromedia Freehand 10
*Adobe Photoshop 7.0
4. PC/Windows disks and files can be accepted only if done in the previously mentioned applications. Typefaces may need to be substituted on these files.
5. To be sure you art is output correctly, please include:
*A hard copy proof showing colors and a listing of files on your disk.
*All EPS or TIFF files placed in your art.
*TIFF files should be 300 minimum resolution
(600 preferred) and at 100% finished image size.
*All printer and screen fonts or convert to objects.
*With EPS or TIFF files, please include original art from
which it was created or a match print. (NO PHOTOCOPIES)

Camera-ready art does not include: thermographed business cards and letterheads or other raised printing; faxes; poor quality photocopies; or damaged art with smudge marks, staples, tape or creases. Art charges will be assessed according to time, difficulty, and amount of materials used at $48(V) per hour. Additional charges will be shown on the acknowledgment and the factory will immediately proceed with the order if the charges are under $25(V). Complete art services are available upon request from Vonco’s Art Department.
For Screen/Pad Printing: Artwork should not have fine lines, halftone screens or large areas of reversed out copy with small images. Type size, registration marks and lines should be at least 12 pt. and bold.
For Flexographic Printing: All screens and halftones should be 85 to 100 line screen and not printed out at a 45 or 60 degree angle. If there are two or more colors and the colors touch, then where they touch, one color must “trap”, print over the other by 1/32". The darker color “traps”, prints over the lighter color.Vonco’s Art Department can assist you with trapping.

OVERRUN/UNDERRUNS: Due to the complexity and number of production processes involved in printing and converting poly film, it is not always possible to determine the exact quantity of finished products. For flexographic printed items see individual product pages for quantities. For screen printed items there is a 5% over and under allowance. If an underrun is unacceptable, or an exact amount is required, please contact Customer Service for a quotation.

PRODUCTION TIME: Based on a five day work week (weekends and holidays are excluded) production begins when camera ready artwork has reached the factory, credit has been established, extended, or prepayment received, and all other important information is clear.

RETURN GOODS: Request for returns must be made within 10 days from receipt of goods. Merchandise may not be returned for any reason without written authorization from the factory. Non-imprinted goods are subject to a 15% restocking charge.

RIGHTS TO PROMOTION: Unless otherwise notified in writing at the time of the order, Vonco reserves the right to use any items it produces in displays, promotional or collateral material.

SHIPPING: F.O.B. Factory in Illinois. Orders will be shipped by most convenient form of carrier unless specified otherwise. All orders must specify a street address. Claims for loss, damage or theft must be made with the carrier.

SPLIT SHIPMENT DESTINATIONS: $12.50(V) per destination after the first location. Customer must supply a typed list, including shipping address labels and quantity per each.

TRADEMARKS: The customer accepts full responsibility for claims or litigation arising from alleged infringement of patients or copyright on any requested design or copy.

TYPESETTING: Up to four lines at no charge. Additional lines will be billed at 4.00 (T) per line. Customer must supply layout, font to use and positioning.
